Silky White

Semua kaki TV mesti pernah tengok iklan Silkywhite, produk pencerahan kulit. Salah satu iklannya ialah yang guna ramai gadis-gadis berbilang kaum berbeza-beza warna kulit. Quotes yang disebut-sebut ialah:

"White and beautiful."
"Yellow and beautiful."
"Brown and beautiful"
"Black and beautiful."

Color-color yang disebut di atas adalah untuk menggambarkan warna kulit gadis-gadis di dalam iklan tersebut. Tetapi agak hairan, jika 'black... and beautiful', kenapa perlu ada produk tersebut? Tidakkah konsep iklan tersebut agak menyimpang dengan adanya ayat2 yang diucapkan di atas?

Suggestion Untuk Ida

oleh kerana Ida telah di invite oleh Lily ke satu party yang bertemakan negara Jepun, maka aku hendak memberi cadangan beberapa style yang agak menarik dan tidak akan jemu dipandang; instead of mengenakan kimono dan terompah kayu.

ini ialah pakaian wajib ada yang mesti besepah-sepah orang pakai

atau Ida juga boleh mengubahsuai sedikit tradisional kimono menjadi sesuatu yang agak gothic

ataupun mix & match dan terhasil harajuku

atau meniru gaya anime jepun yang terkenal

atau hanya memakai cawat sumo

aku harap cadangan-cadangan di atas dapat membantu Ida dalam memilih costumes yang sesuai supaya tidak nampak typical japanesse party yang ada kimono, sakura dan terompah. mana tahu, Ida akan menjadi trend setter satu hari nanti.

Siapa Dia?

aku suka untuk bertanya orang yang paling hampir dengan aku (biasanya Hadi) apabila aku baca sesuatu dan sesuatu itu ialah berkaitan dengan pengetahuan am. dialog tersebut berlangsung seperti ini:

"pernah dengar tak nama Boutrous- Boutrous Ghali?"
"pernah, masa kita sekolah rendah dulu."

"tau tak sapa dia?"
"siapa ye...penjenayah ke?"

pecah gelak Baling aku. aku pun tak berapa pasti siapa dia kalau aku tak baca buku ni tapi setidak-tidaknya aku akan jawab Boutrous-Boutrous Ghali ni ialah seorang politician; jawapan 'penjenayah' itu sangat jauh daripada pilihan jawapan sedia ada.

*kepada yang tidak tahu/ingat; Boutrous- Boutrous Ghali ialah Setiausaha Agung PBB yang ke-6, berkhidmat dari 1991-1996, dari Mesir.

sekadar gambar hiasan

"demi masa, manusia hidup dalam kerugian". dia umpama jarum saat pada sebuah jam dinding, laju dan sekata. sekiranya dia berhenti, yang lain juga turut diam. dia pasti keadaan pasti lumpuh sekiranya dia tidak berlari.

*penulis sebenarnya mahu memfokuskan pada aksesori2 yg dipakai oleh model pd hari tersebut, tetapi kerana masalah teknikal kamera tidak dapat memberi gambaran sebenar penulis. jadi 'love' yg dimaksudkan tidak mencapai tujuan sebenar. harap maklum.

I have dated a close friends's ex. I am happy at this moment!! I'm obsessed with guys. I study for tests most of the time. I tie my shoelaces differently from anyone I've ever met. I can work on a car. I love my job. I am comfortable with who I am right now. I have more than just my ears pierced. I walk barefoot wherever i can. I have jumped off a bridge. I love sea turtles. I spend ridiculous money on makeup. I plan on achieving a major goal/dream.I'm proficient in a musical instrument. I worked at McDonald's restaurant. I hate office jobs. I love sci-fi movies. I don't know why the hell i just did this stupid thing. I usually like covers better than originals. I can pick up things with my toes. I can't whistle. setelah bertahun-tahun memendam rasa, dia akhirnya berjaya menakluki cinta*. pedulikan tohmahan dan dengki masyarakat sekeliling, dia bersyukur dengan kehidupan baru yang berwarna-warni. kini dia cuma perlu memenangi hati cintanya, memesrai sebaik mungkin. kerana di penghujung pasti akan ada bahagia.

*cinta ialah nama manja utk nikon D90. diberi nama seindah end productnya. dan lihatlah aksi cinta dan tuannya

dia terpaksa mengaku dlm penafian yg bermati-matian. akhirnya hatinya yg sekian lama kosong terisi jua dgn cinta gadis bertudung bawal*. pilihannya tepat; kerana segala ciri-ciri yg dia tuntut selama ini ada pada gadis tersebut. cinta lamanya yg tenggelam timbul menyukarkan keadaan, tetapi dlm kepayahan gadis yg bertakhta di hatinya itu berjaya melarikan dia dari situasi serba bodoh tersebut.

*tudung bawal ini mendapat nama drpd perkataan voil. setelah dikomersialkan oleh org kelantan, maka terbitlah nama tersebut (pendapat penulis, tak ada kene mengena dgn yg hidup atau mati)
